IMPORTANT NOTICE
END OF REGISTRATION FOR STUDIES FOR THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR
This is to inform all students and the entire University Community that the Official deadline
of registration for studies for the 2019/2020 academic year has been closed with effect
from 29th November, 2019. This is in line with Reg. No. 5.6 of General University
Regulations and Guidelines for Undergraduate Studies 2019 and 3.4 of the Postgraduate
Studies Regulations and Guidelines 2019 and that there shall be no further registration.
Having considered the above, all Unregistered Students are advised to seek persmision to
postpone studies as follows:-
1. All First Year Unregistered Students are advised to complete all registration
requirements and seek permission to postpone studies until 2020/2021 academic
year.
2. All Continuing Unregistered Students are advised to flexibly seek permission to
postpone studies on Medical, Financial and Social grounds until 2020/2021
academic year as provided by Reg. No. 9 (9.1-9.11) of the General University
Regulations and Guidelines for Undergraduate Studies 2019 and 6.2 Postgraduate
Studies Regulations and Guidelines 2019.
All students with Conditional/Partial Registration will be allowed to continue with studies
but not allowed to sit for the University Examinations until they dully complete all the
requirements for registraion and that partial registaion shall expire two weeks before the
University Examinations.
