OVERVIEW:
The History of Testing began before Independence, during German and British rule, the Metric System was introduced by the Germans during their pre-World War II, 1914 – 1918. When the British came to rule us, after the war , developed their own Imperial System of Measurements (s) used in samba, ba and metric measurements.
The work was done in accordance with the then Act known as the Weights and Measures Ordinance, Chapter 221 of 1931 and its regulations. The operation was carried out by Inspectors of Weights and Measures under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police.
