TAZAMA Pipelines Limited, an interstate organization owned bythe United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia and which deals in transportation of crude oil from Dar es Salaam to Ndola, Zambia, wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the below-mentioned post for its new Container Depot at Keko, Dar es salaam.

• Yard Planner
• Assistant Yard Supervisor
• Yard Supervisor
• Assistant Accountant 
• Truck Drivers (3 Posts)
  
• Container Handler/Forklift Operators (4 Posts)
• Tally / Data Entry Clerks (4 Posts)

YARD PLANNER (ONE POST)

Job Purpose: Ensure proper planning of placement and overall movement of containers in liaison with other sections in order to facilitate efficient operations of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Form IV Secondary School
• Degree in Logistics and Transport from a recognized Institute/University
• At least three years’ work experience in reputable firm.
• Very good command of spoken and written English and Kiswahili language
• Knowledge in ICT

TALLY/ DATA ENTRY CLERK (FOUR POSTS)

Job Purpose: Ensure accurate counting, inspection and assess­ ment of container quality in order to facilitate efficient operation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Form Four Secondary Education
• Diploma in Logistics, Shipping,Accounts or
• Two years’ work experience in container depots as an added advantage.
• Spoken English and Kiswahili language
• Knowledge in ICT

Container Handler/Forklift Operator (4 Posts) 

Job Purpose:

Facilitate efficient movement and stacking of contain­ ers in order to ensure efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Form Four Secondary Education
• Certificate in Operations of Reach Stacker equipment/ Forklift from Bandari
• Knowledge in Automobile Engineering is an added
• Three years’ work
• Spoken English and Kiswahili language

REMUNERATION:

Attractive remuneration packages will be offered to the successful candidates for the above positions
