Logistics Officer  

Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and controlling Third party trucks made available to service as declared by Third part Transporter.
  • Managing and controlling Issue of ATC & ITA to Third party Trucks according to the Dispatch plan.
  • To monitor and Truck All Goods In transit carried by Third party trucks.
  • Checking, extracting, and investigating for Third part Delay trucks, communicating to the third part transporter, and making a report to Head of Logistics Department.
  • Checking, extracting, and investigating for the Third part trucks which are not carried raw material on their way back to plant from the customer as per the agreement made.
  • Checking and verified all POD (proof of Delivery) submitted for claiming Service Charges.
  • Liaise with other department on issues concerning Third party Transporter.
  • Create and Expedite payment of Third part transporter invoices.
  • Provides a summary of the performance of Third-Party Logistics Provider against agreed service levels
  • Any other Duties assigned to him by Head of Department.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics Management or any field related.
  • At least Four (4) years’ experience in a generalist logistics role.

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic Knowledge of SAP & Excel
  • Ability to effectively apply scheduling techniques to own work.
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Performance driven and result oriented individual.

Security Officer

Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To enforce the access control system applied for controlling the entry and exit of Employees/Staff, Co-partners, (Sub)Contractors and Visitors/Guests
  • To patrol the strategic points and installations
  • To prevent unauthorized entry into security areas
  • To report suspicious incidents, threats, or persons
  • To confront any illegal action against the premises
  • To report any breaches in security system
  • To submit regular written and verbal reports
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment.
  • Inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and permitting entry.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
  • Informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance.
  • Interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Contributes to teamwork effort by accomplishing related results as needed by the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, as per core values (Integrity, Objectivity, Confidentiality, Professional behavior, Professional competence, and due care).
  • Perform any related duties assigned by head of department

Key Requirements

  • Certificate of Secondary Education and above, with Security training i.e., military, police, prison, militia, or any private security training.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in relevant position.

Logistics Officer -Traffic Control 

Description

Job Summary

Provide support for the logistics function by managing loading activities (on-loading and trans-loading) at assigned depot to ensure overall orderliness and efficiency of depot operations

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise traffic control officers at the gate.
  • Receiving reports from traffic controllers and sending them to the senior traffic control.
  • Management of all traffic movements.
  • To advise and suggest solutions to the problems and challenges arising from day-to-day traffic controlling activities.
  • To ensure that all documents collected by drivers from logistic office are accurate and valid.
  • To coordinate both incoming and outgoing truck within the plant premises.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Transport.
  • Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in logistics management

Skills and Behaviours

  • Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
  • Sound knowledge of DCP’s product and service offerings.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management terminologies, methodologies and approach
  • Basic knowledge of system-based inventory management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing requirements
  • Working knowledge of relevant supporting tools and technologies such as MS Excel, Project Management applications, etc.
