PUI operates in 10 intervention sectors and is distinguished by the implementation of an integrated approach in its response. Focus on our activities in CAR
Our mission in CAR has existed since 2007. PUI is developing its integrated approach there with interventions in Health, Nutrition, MHPSS and Water-Hygiene-Sanitation. In addition, PUI works on intervention in a fixed location via primary health or first aid centers, in support of certain hospitals, or via the deployment of mobile clinics in the most remote areas. Today, the mission consists of 7 projects.
And the Health Project Manager in all of this?
As the Health Project Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of all the health activities of the project, and will manage the human and financial resources of PUI dedicated to the Health activities.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Programs : You will ensure the qualitative implementation and monitoring of the health program (s) under your responsibility in compliance with PUI's health policy and intervention framework and by applying the fundamental principles of Transversal Protection.
Human Resources : You will supervise the health team (PUI employees and any day laborers).
Logistics and Administration : You will ensure compliance with the logistical and administrative procedures of the activities under your responsibility.
Representation : You will represent the association with partners, authorities and local actors involved in the implementation of health programs.
Security : You will contribute to the respect of the security rules on the base and will transmit all information of a security nature to your hierarchical manager.
Strategy : You will contribute to the development of new interventions on the basis of identified needs.
The challenges that await you:
Recruitment of the national team
Establish links with local health authorities
Establish links with health and WASH actors in the Paoua sub-prefecture
What you will need to be successful
Training : You can justify a higher diploma in the health field (doctor, nurse, pharmacist, midwife, public health professional).
Experience : You have at least two years of experience as a health professional, previous field experience in NGOs and internationally. Have you already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It will be an undeniable asset!
Skills : You master project management, have good writing skills and knowledge of institutional donor procedures (OFDA, ECHO, AAP, UN agencies, etc.).
Required qualities : You show good interpersonal skills, have a taste for teamwork and management skills. You are able to work independently by taking initiatives, have a sense of responsibility, diplomacy, a good capacity for analysis and organization. You show a strong resistance to stress.
Languages : French and English hold no secrets for you? So much the better, it is essential for this position!

PUI will offer you
Status: Employee on a Fixed-Term Contract
Gross monthly salary : 1,815.00 - 2,145.00 EUR depending on your experience in international solidarity + 50 € per semester of seniority with PUI
Insurance including medical and complementary health cover, 24-hour assistance, repatriation and provident insurance
Accommodation in collective house
Living expenses (“Per Diem”)
Break regime: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months of assignment + break bonus
Paid Leave Plan: 5 weeks of CP / year + return plane ticket to home every 6 months
