PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To lead a security shift in the process plant and assist the security Senior Product Control Officer on Process plant security related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ordinary level secondary school education.
Basic security training / knowledge will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
2 years’ relevant security experience in gold mining industry.
Experience in gold processing plant security will be an added advantage.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Team Lead 2 - Core Shed

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Purpose of the role within the resourcing group is to ensure that there are safe and efficient work processes by supervising team, working at the geology core yard including geology staff and non-geology staff (casuals).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ordinary level secondary school education.
Relevant certificates in geology or supervisory courses.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years relevant exploration / core shed experience.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure health, safety & environmental standards are complied by all team members working at the core yard.
Ensure the core and RC samples are stored according to the plan and maximizing the available space.
Supervise the team during the drill core disposal an in accordance to the core disposal procedure and disposing at right location.
Supervise team to maximize usage of personnel and the relogging is done on time and re-storing the samples after relogging
Supervise the geology mini store.
Supervise team to ensure housekeeping is good.
Plan the work better to utilize available workforce and light vehicles.
Ensure no backlog of drill core at the coreshed which has been logged to sampling and stored timely
Support the coreshed senior supervisor as required.

At least 1 year relevant experience in mining industry preferably Underground Mining
Experience with MS Office software.

This is done whilst focusing on controlling costs and improving efficiency and accuracy in the management of the overall supply chain.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Commerce or Degree in Supply Chain and Logistic Management.
EXPERIENCE:
10 years working experience, mining industry experience advantageous.
Experience in a procurement and Supply Chain Management position.
Proficient in the use of ERP SAP Materials Management system.
Strong computer skills – Microsoft office package, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Dynamic knowledge and understanding of supply chain, business acumen and the mining environment.
Knowledge of SAP supply chain systems integration and automation a definite requirement.
Proven track record for competency in all Supply Chain SAP modules.
